Our Story

How We Got Here

Our story began with Lexi, our first Pomeranian, who suffered from black skin disease. To help her, we tried a lot of things. We switched her diet to mostly natural foods and we added omega-3 oil supplements, which significantly improved her skin and also helped her coat. We cherished 18 wonderful years with Lexi. When lexi went to doggy heaven, we thought we would never have a dog again, but that only lasted a couple of months. Now we're lucky to have two lively companions, Koukla and Kiwi, who bring us endless joy and mischief!! We aimed to feed them mostly natural foods and treats from the start, but we were disappointed when our favorite local all-natural treat shop closed. After trying quite a few replacement treats that didn't work out (for one reason or another), we decided to create our own chicken treats, leading the birth of Pop Pop & Yia Yia's Smokey Treats!! We're excited to share our homemade treats with you and you furry friends!!
